Easy Steps to Setup Outlook Express with Gmail

Outlook Express is an ultimate email client. It allows management of email account easy and fast. It provides security of your email data too. If you wish to arrange your Gmail account in Outlook Express, it is possible by following a few simple steps.

First, open the Outlook Express

In case, you are opening for the first time, it saves your time because the email account setting window will itself open.

In case, you are not opening for the first time, you need to open the email account setting window manually.

In the Outlook Express, move the cursor to “Tools” menu and select “Accounts”

A new window will open that displays your Internet Accounts.

Click “Add” and choose “Mail”

Next, the internet connection wizard will open

Before you setup your Gmail account with Outlook Express, it is important to setup POP in your mail so that the account will connect to the third party. A few simple and easy to remember steps are required to follow for this.

• Open your Gmail Account

Carefully fill the “Server” and “Advanced” information

Server needs you to setup incoming mail server “POP3” and “Account Details”

In Outgoing Mail Server, choose “use same settings as my incoming mail server” and then “OK”
