You all know that Outlook is a wonderful gift of Microsoft to people who are looking for excellent email management tool. It makes sending and receiving of emails fast and simple, not just that it is compatible to manage contacts, important and email features. It is used for both personal and official usage. Connecting Outlook 2007 with Yahoo is a great idea. A few simple steps are required to follow to connect your Yahoo account with Outlook 2007. You can do this on your own. No technical assistance is required to configure the Yahoo account. The tutorial is very easy to follow.
First open the Outlook 2007 on your PC
If you are starting the program first time, the email account window will itself open.
If this is not your first time, you will have to go manually to open the email setup window to create account. Go to the “Tools” menu and select “Account Settings”
The next window is about adding or removing account, Email Accounts. As you are creating account, choose “New”.
The next window is about selecting the email service, choose “Microsoft Exchange, POP3, IMAP or HTTP” and then “Next”
Right after, the Auto Account Setup will open, select “Manually configure server settings” and “Next”
The next wizard is again ask you to choose email service, select “Internet E-Mail” that connect with POP, HTTP or IMAP and “Next” button
Finally, you will reach to the email account setup but before that you need to enable POP in your Yahoo mail account.
Now, setup your Yahoo mail account on Outlook Windows by filling the email account information
Name
Incoming mail server (POP3)
Incoming and Outgoing mail servers
Account name
Unique password
In “More Settings” set the “Outgoing Server” and “Advanced”
In “Advanced”, incoming server will be 995
Outgoing server will be 465
Thus, you will end with setting up your Yahoo account with Outlook 2007.
